Homeward Bound WV was honored to be selected as 1 of 3 local nonprofit organizations to participate in this wonderful opportunity!

We want to recognize some amazing students at WVU! We had the honor of being selected to work with 1 of 3 teams from the WVU Reed College of Media that competed in the 2019 CreateAthon. This semester, they researched and collected data about our nonprofit, then after a 24-hour “CreateAThon” event, developed a variety of marketing and education materials for us to be able to utilize, promote, and educate about our rescue. At the end of the event, they were chosen as the winners!! We will be receiving some fun, new materials, videos, and much-needed resources. #teaser There may even be Pop-up Cat Cafes in our future! ❤️ So watch for those coming very soon! (To see more about their journey during this process, check out the video they created below.)

Congratulations to our team: Skylar Ray, Account Coordinator; Angela Stotler, Brand Content Writer; Cara Short, Secondary Research Director; Anna Dematteo, Primary Research Director; Reece Hitchcock, Creative Director; Hailey Spicer, PR Director; and Joey Ryan, Digital Communications Director. They were led by their professor, Dr. Geah Pressgrove. THANK YOU ALL for your hard work! Our animals will directly benefit from all that you did and we are very grateful!!
