West Virginia University Organization Gives Back to Rescue Animals

THANK YOU to our friends at WVU PAWS: Pets Are Worth Saving!! This student organization gave us a much appreciated donation! Over the course of the school year, the group held fundraisers including bake sales and a smooch a pooch/kiss a kitten event to raise money. “During our last meeting of the year our devoted members voted on 5 organizations that they thought needed the most help.” Homeward Bound WV is honored to be among those that received a donation!

The group had to say this about us, “Homeward Bound WV (501c3) is second on our list and has in the past always allowed us to join in on their adoption days at Pet Valu in Morgantown, WV. They are a foster based organization and have incredibly devoted volunteers and foster parents who work around the clock to ensure their animals have quality care and great adopting families. Our members understand a foster based non-profit is an incredibly difficult but fulfilling experience for all of those involved.”

Thank you, WVU PAWS, for your support and dedication to helping those that help animals in need. For a small group like ours, your volunteerism and donations are significant to our success!! 🐶🐱🐾
