Feature Pet Friday – Hazel

Feature Pets / Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017

Hi, my name is Hazel! I got my name because I was found at the Hazelton Penitentiary. A very kind person was mowing the grass when suddenly I appeared! I jumped right in front of the mower and said “save me!!” I’m not sure if they understood me, but it worked. They scooped me up and brought me to Homeward Bound WV, Inc. I was very scared, sick, and malnourished. My new foster mom took great care of me. I had to take medicine and vitamins to help me get better. Soon, I started to come out of my shell. I’m a pretty shy kitty around humans but I get along great with my foster cat siblings. And I LOVE to eat and play. My favorite thing to do is to flop on the floor for belly rubs just out of reach of my foster mom. She thinks that I have the softest belly fur ever! I need a safe, loving, and calm forever home. Do you have room for me?”

All of our cats and kittens are examined by a veterinarian, Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, vaccinated for Rabies and FVRCPP, dewormed for internal parasites, checked for external parasites, current on heartworm prevention/flea control and have been spayed/neutered.

If you interested in this shy sweet gal, please fill out the adoption application here >> http://www.homewardboundwv.org or send us an email at adopt@homewardboundwv.org for more information.
